Don’t miss out on the most exciting & educational performing arts workshop in the country! Turn Up The Music National Tour, presented by The Young Americans, is making a stop here to work with our students for 3 Days. Available to all students 3rd-8th grades.

What can your students look forward to? This high-energy comprehensive performance workshop covers everything from vocal techniques, dance, and comedy improvisation, to stage movement, sound, lighting, and more. Learning a show in 3 days helps students learn to work together, to respect each other’s strengths, and to discover their own potential.

Classes, Self-Confidence, & Leadership: In addition, the students will take classes in the areas of voice, dance, song writing, and performance (acting and improv).

After three days of intensive performance instruction, it’s show time! The Young Americans cast of 45 perform the first act, and then to everyone’s astonishment, of the students perform the second act. This show is jam packed with choral, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, rock n’ roll, and more. Your students will be the ones in front singing, dancing, and performing the variety show and solos they’ve learned in just two days.

EVENT DETAILS
Location:
 Nativity School Gym
Dates: February 23- 25 with a final show performance
Age Range: available for Nativity students in grades 3 - 8 • Students will be separated into elementary and middle school groups to learn age appropriate material

Registration: $59 per student • includes a tour t-shirt (costume for the show) and registration for 16 hours of performance, dance, and vocal workshops. Students will be allowed to collect signatures on their shirt after the performance from The Young Americans cast and their friends.

Scholarships: You will have the chance to give the gift of music and can donate a scholarship for 1 or more students during this process. Anyone in need of a scholarship should apply during the review step of your online registration. Limited Scholarships are available for registration fees only. Applicants will be notified one week prior to the start of the event.

Pick-up, Drop-off, or Is your student in a conflicting activity? We realize families may need to drop-off students late, pick-up early, or have students participating in a conflicting activity. Please let a cast member know about your situation so that they can teach your student what they’ve missed during any portion of the event.

Meals: Participants should bring a sack lunch for every meal break.

Show Tickets: will be sold for the finale show at the end of the workshop day & 30 minutes prior to the performance. We want to stress the importance of purchasing tickets before the show day to ensure you have a seat. As a reminder, your student(s) that are in the workshop do not need a ticket.
